Why seek the services of a Registered Nutritional Consulting
Practitioner?
An RNCP is a qualified practitioner who provides guidance pertaining
to the building and maintenance of nutritional well-being.
Information is gathered through a detailed questionnaire, client
food intake, and personal consulting. Based on the information
received, recommendations are made.
Counsel may include:
- Recommending food selection and preparation.
- Recommending food supplements (vitamins, minerals, enzymes, herbs,
glandular concentrates, essential fatty acids, etc.).
- Education about the benefits of a sound nutritional program to
encourage the body to heal itself.
- Evaluation of client food intake. Particular attention is paid to
the proportions of protein, fat, starches, sugars and fiber consumed.
It is important to understand each person’s unique bio-chemical
differences and needs. A nutritional assessment will be an
educational experience where you will learn to make lifestyle
changes that will have a long-lasting effect on the quality of your
life.
Some insurance companies recognize the services of a R.N.C.P. Check
your policy if you have insurance coverage for this complementary
service.
